StumpVerse doesn't ask for your name, email address, or any personal details to draft a squad and play. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. This page explains the little that is stored, how advertising on the site works, and why.
Your light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage so it's remembered on your next visit. It never leaves your device, identifies nobody, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Creating or joining a multiplayer room stores whatever you type as your display name, plus the room's draft state itself (rolls, picks, captains, XIs, and match results) for as long as the room exists. No account or email is attached to any of it: a room knows only the display names its two players chose and a random room code. Room data isn't used for anything beyond running that room.
Like any website, the infrastructure StumpVerse runs on may keep short-lived technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and requested URL, for operating and securing the service. StumpVerse doesn't use these to profile you, and builds no analytics on them.
StumpVerse itself sets no tracking cookies and loads no analytics scripts. To keep the game free, the site may show advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google.
Third-party ad vendors use cookies (such as Google's advertising cookies) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure that those ads were shown. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google atGoogle Ads Settings, and from many other vendors ataboutads.info.
Where the law in your region requires it, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline. Declining never affects your ability to play.
A shared result card or seed link contains only game data: your record, your squad's players, and the seed that reproduces the run. It contains nothing about you personally.
StumpVerse collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to hand over.
For questions about this policy, or anything you'd like removed from a multiplayer room, email support@stumpverse.com.
